Thank you for your support.
Contributing to automation advancement at UW-Stout provides funding in support of the future of manufacturing including robots, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, analytics and more.
Automation enables manufacturers to increase productivity, bridge labor shortages, increase the reliability of production, enhance quality, and improve workforce engagement in new ways. Much of the next generation of the manufacturing workforce will not make the products but will program and manage the automated systems that do it for them. Management positions in automation leadership are projected to grow 8% more than other leadership positions nationally through 2031.
To address the growing, skilled workforce needs, automation leadership was launched in Fall 2023 at UW-Stout, a first-of-its-kind bachelor’s program. Through your support, you are making an impact and helping UW-Stout remain a leader in automation, and across the variety of disciplines and learning environments that support this important work.
