Verification of Non-Filing Letter
If your 2018-19 FAFSA application is selected by the U.S. Department of Education to be verified, UW-Stout is required to confirm your tax information. Do you have a "Non-filing Verif" checklist in your To-Do List in Access Stout? If so, you or your parent indicated on your FAFSA that you did not file taxes for 2016, and you need to submit a Verification of Non-filing from the IRS to our office to confirm that you did not file taxes.
If you did file taxes in 2016, then you must submit a Tax Return Transcript to our office instead.
