Supporting Student Research
The McNair Scholars Program supports undergraduate research through a dedicated research experience. Students enroll in our three courses throughout second-quarter spring, summer, and second-quarter fall. All courses are online and tuition/fees are covered by the program so they are free to McNair participants. In these courses, students learn how to conduct research and design their own research project. In the summer, they conduct research. In the fall, they present and publish their findings.

Our dedicated staff advise, support, and equip students when making post-baccalaureate goals. We also provide assistance in reducing or eliminating financial burdens that can accompany graduate school searching and application processes.

Application Priority Deadline: November 1
- Juniors and seniors who will be enrolled in Summer 2026 should submit the application by the priority deadline.
- Freshman, sophomores and those graduating Fall 2027 or later can apply at any time!
