Grants for Undergraduate Students

Eligibility: Based on your financial need determined by your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Award: Maximum award is $7,395. Award amounts are based on your FAFSA and credit load.
Eligibility: Based on Pell Grant eligibility. Must be enrolled at least half-time (6 credits).
Award: Maximum award is $1,000.
Who: Wisconsin resident undergraduates.
Eligibility: Based on your financial need determined by your FAFSA. Can be received for a maximum of 10 semesters.
Award: Maximum award is $3,700. Award amounts are based on your FAFSA and credit load.
Who: Wisconsin resident undergraduates who have been nominated.
Eligibility: Freshmen students are nominated by school financial aid offices or by counselors of the Wisconsin Educational Opportunity Programs (WEOP). To continue to receive the TIP Grant, you must be enrolled consecutively at least half-time (6 credits) and continue to demonstrate financial need. Grant can be received for a maximum of 10 semesters.
Award: Maximum award is $1,800.
State grant: Wisconsin Indian Student Assistance Grant
Tribal grant: File an application with your tribe.
Who: Wisconsin resident undergraduates who are studying abroad.
Eligibility: Must demonstrate financial need determined by your FAFSA and be accepted into a study abroad or exchange program. You must complete an application and submit it to the Office of International Education.
