Caring for your well-being remotely

The Counseling Center is currently offering tele-counseling appointments using Microsoft Teams for students residing in Wisconsin. If you wish to schedule a telehealth appointment, please call our office at (715)-232-2468. If you live out of state and are seeking services, you may contact the office and schedule a telephone consultation for help in locating counseling resources near you.

The Counseling Center office is currently open with staff rotating between being on-campus and telecommuting, in accordance with health guidelines. In the interest of staff and student health and safety, primary service delivery will continue to be via tele-counseling during the Spring 2021 semester. Limited exceptions for in-person appointments will be made for student crises and other extenuating circumstances, during which campus protocols for masking and social distancing will be enforced.

If you are in need of a private space to attend a tele-counseling appointment, you can use one of the following options:

  1. Call the Counseling Center at 715-232-2468 to reserve a private room
  2. If you live in the residence halls, ask about private rooms available in your basement
  3. The campus library has a variety of rooms that you can reserve for up to 2 hours a day
