My work examines the substantial influence that media provides as societal pressure. This type of pressure enforces obsessively defining beauty, by means of evaluating self-image and individuality. Oppressively influencing media operates as a substantial psychoanalytic system to correct or modify the body. Using synthetic material, I create through hiding, manipulating, and covering, directly relating to the ritualistic up-keep we aspire to uphold.

This installation mimics the attributes in which we cover oneself and adjust our physical appearance in order to attain the visual message we wish to portray. The subtle and dramatic wall undulations connect the physical disruptions we try so desperately to control.
