Be a Part of a Long-Standing Tradition 

Participate in one of the largest Career Conferences in the Midwest. UW-Stout has a rich history of hosting multi-day Career Conferences which consistently draw 300-plus employers each semester and more than 2,000 students during both the fall and spring semesters.

About the Spring  Career Conference

Dates: February 27 & 28, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Location: UW-Stout Sports & Fitness Center

Who is allowed to attend? 

  • UW-Stout students, alumni and faculty/staff
  • Employers recruiting UW-Stout students and alumni for professional positions and co-op/internships 


Employer Registration Fees

$325.00 per booth, per day 

After January 19, 2018 - $375.00 per booth, per day

Employers may attend more than one day if they choose.  If you would like to attend both days, a separate registration for each day of the conference is required.

Employer Registration Includes
  • Attendance for two representatives
  • Light breakfast and lunch
  • Booth space: Approximately 10'x7'
  • 6 or 8 foot table (Tablecloths available on first come, first served basis)
  • Electrical hook up and wireless internet
How to Register

First, determine which day to attend. View the Industry & Majors by Day list to pick the date that fits with your recruiting needs. If you wish to attend both days, you will need to register for each day separately.

  1. Login to CareerLink (click on the EMPLOYER LOGIN icon)
  2. Click Career Events > Career Conference > Search
  3. Click "Register" for the date you are attending.
  4. Payment: Online by credit card is preferred, or print an invoice and send with a check payable to UW-Stout Career Services to 103 Administrative Building, Menomonie, WI 54751 prior to January 19, 2018
  5. Email confirmation will be sent after registration is processed
How to Ship Display Materials
  • If shipping conference materials ahead of time, ship to:
    • Career Services, UW-Stout, 103 Administration Building, 712. S. Broadway, Menomonie, WI 54751.
  • Please indicate your company name and “Hold for Conference” on the carton. Materials will be delivered to your booth for your arrival. (Please ship early.)
  • To return materials, employers are responsible for preparing cartons to be shipped. Shipping charges must be billed to employer's account.
  • Box, seal, and affix shipping labels and leave packages at your booth. Career Services will collect them at the end of the day and contact FedEx, DHL, and UPS for pick-up the following day.
Schedule On-Campus Interviews

How to Reserve an Interview Space:

  1. Log into CareerLink
  2. Schedule an on-campus recruiting visit by hovering over "Interview Schedules" in the navigation
  3. Click on "New Interview Schedule Request"
  4. Fill out the form with the kind of schedule you are interested in
    • Select "open" for your schedule type
    • Select "yes" for interview sign-up during the conference
    • Interview duration limit is 30 minutes
    • Location of interviews is subject to change
  5. Click "Save and Continue"
  6. Then you will "Link an Existing Job", "Copy an Existing Job" or "Add New Job"
  7. Fill in the blanks with as much information as possible
    • Due to the high volume of employers attending the Conferences each year, students will sign up for interviews directly at employer booths.
  8. Click "Save and Continue"
  9. Click "Submit Request"

Note: Your Request will not come through to our office until you click on "Submit Request"
