- Manage prairies and savannas (including prescribed burning) at Dobb’s Landing (A collaboration with The Prairie Enthusiasts)
- Develop management plans and monitoring invasive species at the Colfax Red Cedar Preserve & Recreation Area
- Survey rare plants at the local Devil’s Punchbowl Preserve (A collaboration with Landmark Conservancy)
- Monitor the effects of fire on prairies at the Dunnville Bottoms State Recreation Area
- Evaluate small mammal community responses to habitat management activities
- Investigate the impact of beavers on trout streams
- Plan restoration and invasive plant species management in UW-Stout's campus Outdoor Classroom
