Holly Yuan, Ph.D (POC). is a Professor and Program Director of Computer Networking & Information Technology, and Director for Cybersecurity Research & Outreach Center (CyROC) at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Her work on cybersecurity & IT laboratory curricula for undergraduate and graduate has been published in the country as book, book chapters, and conference paper. Dr. Yuan actively engages her students in the research. She has co-authored many book chapters and conference paper with her students. She has won several DoD and NASA cybersecurity grants. She has years of experience leading training and workshops and promote cybersecurity & IT curriculum in minority institutions. She is a member of the ACM and IEEE. Dr. Yuan also holds many valuable IT& cybersecurity certifications including CISM, CEH, AWS-SSA, Linux, VMware, CCIE-R&S, CCNA-Security, CCNP-Security, etc. |
Wei Shi, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor and Program Director of Computer & Electrical Engineering, and one of the core faculty for the Cybersecurity Research & Outreach Center (CyROC) at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Dr. Shi has won multiple awards including Robotics REU program from NSF, Fulton and Edna Holtby Endowed Chair award, and Emerging outstanding researcher award from UW-Stout. Dr. Shi has published extensively in the area of robotics and artificial intelligence. She serves as a reviewer for multiple IEEE journals. She is a member of the IEEE, ASEE, and IEEE Women in Engineering. |
Brandon Cross. is one of the core faculty for the Cybersecurity Research & Outreach Center (CyROC) at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. He develops hands-on IT curriculum and leads hands-on training for many Fortune 500 in the area of IT & security. He has over eight years of experience teaching face to face and online IT & Cybersecurity classes at the UW-Stout. He served as the network administrator for U.S. Air Force for more than five years. Brandon has published many papers on IT & cybersecurity curriculum and laboratory development. He has years of experience leading workshops in Wisconsin and Minnesota promoting cybersecurity & IT curriculum in minority institutions. Brandon holds many valuable IT & cybersecurity certifications including CCIE-R&S, CCNA-Security, CCNA, CCNP, A+, etc. Nam S. Nguyen, Ph.D. is an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin - Stout CNIT program. Dr. Nguyen is generally interested in Cybersecurity, Big Data, and Natural Language Processing issues. Before joining the University of Wisconsin-Stout, Dr. Nguyen worked as a Senior ICT & Security Officer for an Oil and Gas company in Vietnam for ten years. |
Cybersecurity Advisory Board
Tricia Foxwell, Senior Consulting IT Auditor, Securian Financial. Tricia Foxwell is a 1997 graduate of UW-Stout and an IT Auditor with Securian Financial in St. Paul, MN. In her role she identifies cybersecurity risks and designs controls to reduce threats and ensure a safer computing environment. Tricia is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and is Certified in Risk and Information Systems Controls (CRISC). Her 20 years of experience in this field allows her to evaluate the security of complex computing environments, from network infrastructure components to databases to cyber defense. She resides in Hudson with her two sons ages 10 and 13. |
Andrea Kittelson, Global Security Training & Communications Manager at Rockwell Automation. Andrea is an expert in analyzing, designing, developing and implementing adult learning curriculum in a variety of multi-media formats which encourage employee growth and retention. She has mastered the art of lifelong learning by creating engaging and relevant cybersecurity awareness programs which help “patch the Human OS”, by addressing the unique needs of our evolving generational workforce, challenging learners to discover new concepts and adapt their behaviors accordingly. She enjoys the challenge to stay ahead of industry trends and an ever-changing environment. |

Craig Dolezal, Director of Network Infrastructure, U.S. Bank. Craig Dolezal is an infrastructure leader with over 25 years of experience leading and transforming engineering and operations teams across various infrastructure technologies of Fortune 500 companies in retail and banking. Key focus for Craig over the last several years has been in networking, telecom management, open source/commodity based solutions, network automation, transformation into product/agile focused teams, security related infrastructure and significant programs associated with these technologies. |
Jeff Bodsberg, Cyber Security Operational Excellence Manager, GSK. Jeff brings over 30 years of experience in the IT Infrastructure and Information Security space. His career spans a broad and diverse set of Technical, Management, Program Management, Cyber Security Strategy and Leadership experience in the Manufacturing, Healthcare and Global Pharmaceutical industries including a role as a Business Information Security Officer for the Fortune 100 company, Cigna HealthCare. Jeff is currently building out the Cyber Security Strategic Management capability for GlaxoSmithKline – GSK, a global multi-national pharmaceutical company headquartered in London, England. Jeff and his wife Trish live on the family farm in Boyceville, Wisconsin. They have two boys, Aaron (28) and Michael (27). Jeff enjoys the farm upkeep activities, and spending time in the summer with his family at their lake cabin in northern Wisconsin. |
