Steve has been involved with teaching Technology and Engineering at the K-12 levels for approximately 20 years. Steve taught a variety of classes including: Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing, STEM, Engineering, Electronics and Robotics, Automation, etc. He has taught at the high school, middle school, and was the STEM coordinator at the elementary school. Steve has a broad-based education in mathematics, the sciences, and technology and has a passion for getting young people excited about learning. He is the current president of the Wisconsin Technology Education Association and has been involved in education initiatives at the local, state, national, and international levels.

Laurence has been involved in the UW-Stout fab lab since its inception. He has taken advantage of opportunities to visit several fab labs throughout the state performing assessments for UW-Stout and WEDC while networking to discern what makes a quality fab lab. In his current position, he is leading the charge to finish equipping, funding, and building a curriculum for K-12 teachers, students and the wider community in Maple, WI.
