Fostering Success provides guidance and resources for students who have experienced out of home care, foster care, are orphaned or wards or the court, or those experiencing housing insecurity. We also provide information for other campuses interested in developing their own version of Fostering Success.
Connecting Youth to Campus
We coordinate overnight experiences for youth (ages 13 - 17) to learn about what college is about, identify personal strengths, and what opportunities exist for youth interested in higher education. If you want to visit Stout, we'll help you set a up a tour!
Students Attending UW-Stout
We educate students coming to Stout about available grants and scholarships as well as provide supplemental advising about courses and resources. There are numerous leadership and involvement opportunities available on and off campus. We'll connect you with other students, organizations, or opportunities so you make the most of your college experience.
