simon ungless a life in print
Simon Ungless was an original member of the design team at Alexander McQueen, where experimentation, craft, and narrative shaped his approach to fashion. Today, through his studio When Simon Met Ralph, Ungless focuses on material transformation, working primarily with reclaimed textiles and garments. His practice challenges mass production and excess waste, reimagining discarded materials as singular works that honor process, history, and sustainability while advocating for a more thoughtful relationship between design, making, and consumption.
Ungless will be holding a Worn Wear Screen Printing workshop for students on Sunday, April 12th.
