How to Apply as an Undergraduate International Student

As an international student, you'll have the chance to experience life at Wisconsin's Polytechnic University—where leaning goes beyond the classroom. To help you apply, we've created a step-by-step guide just for International Undergraduate and English as a Second Language (ESL) conditional degree students. Our application guide is designed to provide you with detailed instructions, ensuring a seamless experience. Let’s get started—your academic journey at UW-Stout begins here.

To apply as an international undergraduate student, please complete the following steps:

1. Complete the Application
UW-Stout has a shared application with other Universities of Wisconsin campuses. During the application process, select UW-Stout as the campus you wish to submit your application to.
2. Pay Required Fees

A $50 USD international undergraduate admissions processing fee is required prior to an admissions decision. Undergraduate applicants will receive a direct link to pay the Admissions Processing Fee after submission of the application.

The English proficiency requirement may be waived for applicants from English-speaking countries. This will be determined by the Admissions Office after you have applied.
