Policies and procedures:
-

A Stout ID is required for students and employees. A drivers license is required for community members.
 -

We encourage equipment rental reservations. Payment is due at pickup.
 -

Equipment not returned during regular open hours will be charged an improper return fee.
 -

A cleaning fee of $5.00 is charged if equipment is returned dirty.
 -

A late fee is charged if rental items are not returned by the due date. Late fee = daily rental rate x # days late.
 -

Items lost or returned damaged will be assessed. The damage or replacement fee is equal to the cost of repair/replacement.

-

Packages include all necessary equipment for the activity/sport. (e.g. canoe package includes canoe, 2 paddles, 2 personal flotation devices, tie-down straps.)
 -

The weekend rate applies to any equipment rented from Friday through Monday during normal business hours.

Leave No Trace Principles:
While enjoying the outdoors it’s important to practice the seven Leave No Trace Principles to help preserve and protect our natural areas. Feel free to ask a Stout Adventures staff member for more information. For more information about Leave No Trace visit the LNT website.
