Artist Statement
Mixed Media
My artwork is concerned with the relationship of humans and technology. Technology as I define it is the tools, processes and materials of any age; and advanced technology is the tools, processes and materials which will become commonplace in the future. The struggle between benefit and harm and the search for quality of life centers on humans, oftentimes humans with power to make decisions for the whole of mankind. I am very interested in the moral dilemmas which confront humans and in the way we use technology to improve the quality of life or destroy life on a global level.
