Designers will work within the athletics branding guidelines, attend weekly design team meetings, and may manage specific sports social media accounts. Attendance of some sporting events may be required. An interest in UW-Stout Athletics and knowledge of sports is recommended. Applicants must have a working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. They must also be willing to take critique of their work, function as a part of team, and push themselves as a designer.

Their public performances attract close to 1000 audience members each semester from both general public and students in the area.

As a tour guide, you will assist in the recruitment process of new students by providing an excellent experience for visiting families and students. This includes sharing your personal, current-student perspective, but also detailed information about campus. As a tour guide, you will be responsible for making guests feel welcome and comfortable and providing an inclusive environment for all. The Office of Admissions offers large open house opportunities for guests to enjoy a longer Stout experience (Campus Preview Days and Stout Saturdays). You will be expected to work on these events unless you have class. Also, we offer Group Visits to high schools across Minnesota and Wisconsin to come to visit campus. Those would be additional shifts added randomly throughout the semester. When you are not giving tours during your shift, you will assist with greeting and checking in visitors, making visitor bags, writing postcards, running errands, and other special projects/duties as assigned. At the Child and Family Study Center, lab assistants complete work to support the classroom teachers in meeting NAEYC accreditation and licensing standards for center programming. Work includes helping to prep materials and teaching tools used by classroom teaching staff in implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum. Students in this position will learn more fully the instructional responsibilities of a classroom teacher and be instrumental in supporting the work to establish positive, collaborative, and creative environments for children to learn. This position gives students an early hands-on experience in the field of Early Childhood Education. The lab assistant positions are scheduled for approximately 6 hrs./wk. working around a student’s class schedule. Additional hours can be planned as needed/desired. We schedule a lab assistant for each center site, Heritage Hall Infant-Toddler lab and the Child and Family Study Center preschool site.

The University Archives is seeking student workers to assist with identifying archival collections documenting underrepresented groups on our campus and providing enhanced researcher access to these resources through digital collections. Job Description: Research existing collections in the UW-Stout University Archives to identify and scan items documenting underrepresented campus groups including (but not limited to) religious and ethnic minorities, non-traditional students, transfer students, international students, first generation students, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
