You will be paid for your orientation, assessment, and 1:1 coaching appointments with a Career Services Career Coach. Please, direct GPS Program questions to Career Services: careerservices@uwstout.edu.Background: The UW-Stout University Archives includes collections in a variety of formats documenting the people, places, and events on the Stout campus from 1890s to present. The University Archives is seeking student workers to assist with identifying archival collections documenting underrepresented groups on our campus and providing enhanced researcher access to these resources through digital collections. Job Description:  Research existing collections in the UW-Stout University Archives to identify and scan items documenting underrepresented campus groups including (but not limited to) religious and ethnic minorities, non-traditional students, transfer students, international students, first generation students, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Communicate frequently with other University Archives staff about project goals and progress Assist with curating and identifying notable collection items to create digital collections and exhibits featuring underrepresented groups Projects may include opportunities to correspond with departments, individuals, and organizations regarding additional information and items documenting underrepresented groups  Preferred Qualifications:  Previous experience with scanning and digital editing software  Familiarity or experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Teams Familiarity or experience with designing digital exhibits or promotional materials Ability to solve issues both independently and as the member of a team Strong communication skills
