The MSS Student Assistant for Grants and Scholarships will assist the MSS Advisor in the coordination of the Lawton Undergraduate Multicultural Retention Grant (LUMRG) and Multicultural Student Scholarship. Job description Research Assistant Position in Protein Nanoparticles Professor Grant is seeking a Research Assistant I for the fall semester and potentially the spring semester to assist with research into nanoparticles derived from dairy products. The research assistants will work with protein precipitation and fluorescence reagents to learn how to transfer molecules from the nanoparticles to biological materials. Pay ranges from $9.50-$12.50/hr using department criteria rubrics. Expect to be scheduled to work 5 hrs/week. Applications will be reviewed until the position is filled. This position includes social media management, reviewing daily office schedules, checking people in for their appointments, communicating with staff about visitors, providing information to visitors, general office space cleaning and maintenance, checking out TRIO resources, and periodic office projects as directed by staff. These projects could include decorating, filing, organization, etc. as assigned. This work will be completed in an in-person format and does not include virtual work. This job is only available for undergraduate students. Unfortunately, this position is not available to international students as you must be also be a TRIO participant and the TRIO program is federally funded to serve only U.S. citizens.
