Note: Admission to the History Teaching Minor has been suspended effective January 23, 2023, due to licensure changes by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. Students who have declared this teaching minor prior to this date are able to complete the minor. Please contact Dr. Chris Marshall, History Teaching Minor advisor, with any questions.

Are you a current teacher? Our minor offers you professional development opportunities to broaden and improve your knowledge base and teaching skills.

To declare a minor, complete the "Applying for a Minor" survey online, and you will be given further instructions. Once this has been processed you will receive an email confirmation from the Advisement Center.
