Job Duties/Tasks include: Assist with setup, troubleshooting and repair of computers (PC and Mac), printers, phones, cameras, POS devices, vending readers, and other systems.Troubleshoot and repair bad connections (data, phone, and cable). Including hard wired and WiFi connections.Provide user support with good customer service in mind. Installation of network wire, termination and testing of connections. Monitor tech request queue and respond to student and staff requests via email, phone, or in-person.Monitor residence hall printer status and repair or replace toner if necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:Quality customer service skills and a solid work ethicA minimum of one year of academics remainingBe available on weekendsPreferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Experience with cash handling and cash register useGeneral fitness, group exercise, and/or personal training fitness knowledgeGeneral knowledge of fitness equipment and their functionCurrent Adult CPR/AED/FA CertificationGeneral Responsibilities:The Customer Service Representative reports to the Lead Student Manager and CoordinatorPrimary responsibilities of serving the members of the facility in all capacitiesProvide quality customer service in the areas of the Urec Office, Health & Fitness Center facility, West Gym facility, North Point Fitness Center facility, Personal Training program, Group Ex program, and operating the desk area during their scheduled shiftCleaning of the facility and equipmentPosition works at three locations (Urec Office, Health & Fitness Center, North Point Fitness Center)Specific Duties:Operation and security of the cash registerOpening and/or closing of the facilities (MPR, HFC and West Gym)Membership salesMember check in at Multi-Purpose Room, fitness centers and West GymCleaning the facilities, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, mopping/vacuuming floor, cleaning mirrors, and other facility needsWorking rotating weekends, as scheduledAttending all staff meetings, cleaning days, and completing all required trainingsAssist with program events (ie; Homecoming Race)Responsible for all other duties as assigned by supervisorIf you have questions, please contact the coordinator, at urec@uwstout.edu or 715-232-5390.
