The Community Service Officer (CSO) position is a student employment position within the University Police Department. The primary responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, providing night security patrols of the residence halls. Other duties such as public relations, traffic direction, event security and campus security patrols may be assigned as needed. Student employees may elect to work a single aspect of the position or all aspects of the position. This position typically works from midnight to 4am and does require some weekends as well, schedule can be flexible to work with your class schedule. Internships are available, you do not need to be a criminal justice student to apply.As an employee of the Police Department, you will be held to a higher level of trust and professionalism.
