UW-Stout's Professional Development Certificate - Organizational Performance is designed to provide mid-level managers with professional credentials in project management and added distinction in organizational performance methodologies.

This program builds technical skills and competency in Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts, Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies, Agile Framework, and Business Analysis Frameworks with hands-on test preparation for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) examination.

The 15-credit certificate program consists of five online courses aligned to the Project Management Institute (PMI) requirements to prepare for the CAPM examination. Specific courses in Training Systems and Professional and Technical Writing will further shape your career growth by enhancing your management of organizational performance.

Admission Requirements

The prerequisite for admission to the Professional Development Certificate in Project Management-Organization Performance is composition (ENGL 101 and ENGL 102 or equivalent). Each student is required to consult with the program director (PD) of the Professional Development Certificate in Project Management-Organization Performance prior to registration for course work. Applicants who are denied admission due to unmet prerequisites will be advised of alternative ways to qualify, such as test out options or taking the necessary pre-requisites prior to beginning the certificate. The prerequisite credits cannot be used as part of the 15 credits required for the certificate.
