You will be paid for your orientation, assessment, and 1:1 coaching appointments with a Career Services Career Coach. Please, direct GPS Program questions to Career Services: careerservices@uwstout.edu. The UW-Stout Performing Arts area is seeking application from current students for two positions of media specialist.  Duties include: Document rehearsal process (music and theatre) via photos and/or videosDocument performances (music and theatre) via photos and/or videosCollect student testimonials in written form and/or on videosOther media tasks related to the general promotion of the performing arts area  Requirements: Good written and spoken communicationAbility to work independentlyAvailability to work roughly 4 hours per week (varies during the semester)Availability to work some evenings and weekends (during performances)  Desired qualities: Knowledge of multimedia editing (photos or video)Basic image editing skillsBasic 2D design skillsCurrent involvement in at least one of the performing arts areas (band, choir, theatre)Passion for the performing arts  To apply, email the following to Dr. Jerry Hui at huic@uwstout.edu:  Cover letter briefly describing how you may be the best candidate for this position Brief resumé (1-2 pages) outlining your related skills and prior experience (optional) Portfolio of 3–8 art/media works. Please compile them into a single PDF file.
