Please, direct GPS Program questions to Career Services: careerservices@uwstout.edu. Job description Research Assistant Position in Protein Nanoparticles   Professor Grant is seeking a Research Assistant I for the fall semester and potentially the spring semester to assist with research into nanoparticles derived from dairy products. The research assistants will work with protein precipitation and fluorescence reagents to learn how to transfer molecules from the nanoparticles to biological materials. Pay ranges from $9.50-$12.50/hr using department criteria rubrics. Expect to be scheduled to work 5 hrs/week. Applications will be reviewed until the position is filled. First-year, Second-Year and transfer students are eligible. The successful candidate will join the UW-Stout Grow, Persist, Succeed program and need to meet its eligibility requirements.   Duties/Responsibilities include: Preparation and analysis of protein nanoparticles Performing literature searches Other duties as assigned   Qualifications are: Be a UW-Stout 1st Year, 2nd Year or new transfer student and be enrolled for fall 2024 and in good standing. Preference for student to have taken BIO136, CHEM135 or a nanoscience course. APSC and ABMB are encouraged to apply.   TO APPLY: Email Dr. Jennifer Grant, Professor in the Biology Department, to explain your skills and abilities related to the position and to request an application.
