Stout is its own little community within a community, which makes it very welcoming.

After four changed majors, Kelsey Jahn finally decided the Retail Merchandising and Management program was the right choice for her. She always loved fashion and being ahead of trends.

"There was no better place for me than RMM at Stout," Jahn said. "Everyone is so friendly, and there is such a variety of people."

Jahn also appreciated the fact there was always something for her to do. She enjoyed the ease of finding ways to get involved outside of class, whether joining a club or a sports team.

"Stout wants you to get involved and feel like you belong here no matter your interests or career path," Jahn said.

Jahn landed her dream job before graduation and met her goal of moving to a big city. She believes if you want something, you have to do a lot of searching to find it. And then go out and get it.

"Nothing will come to you if you are not willing to make your path and work for it," Jahn said.
