With UW-Stout, I landed a job before I even graduated.

Gabriella Parker learns best by doing. That's why she chose UW-Stout. Its hands-on approach to learning suited the style she needed for her college education.
Parker's hands-on experiences began early in one of her marketing classes. She developed marketing plans for an actual company and presented her work to the company’s board of directors.
"That is one project I will never forget," Parker said. "It really helped me excel."
Her support system at Stout helped Parker through some challenging moments. She gained time management skills balancing her job, completing her homework, and involvement in a student organization.
"I learned every minute counts during the day," Parker said, "and I gained leadership skills that will help me in my career."
