 Shannon Brady is an Academic Staff Instructor at the University of Wisconsin-Stout where he has taught Digital Narrative, Comics, 2D Digital Imaging, Professional Practices, Character Design, 2D Animation, Design Concepts & Problem Solving, and Graphic Design classes. Shannon completed MFA in Visual Studies at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. He taught Magazine Design and Production at both Saint Catherine University and the University of Minnesota as well as an ESL course at the Ho Chi Minh University of Information and Technology in Vietnam. In addition to teaching at the University level, Shannon is an active freelance illustrator. He has been recognized by and has been published in several major periodicals, including: American Illustration, Society of Illustrators, and Communication Arts. He has had professional illustration and graphic design experience at both Oregon State University Foundation and the Pioneer Press in St. Paul, Minnesota. Shannon produced personal work that has been exhibited at galleries nationally and internationally, received awards from various organizations for illustration and design work and was awarded a Xeric Grant for Comic Book work. He has traveled around the world to various countries: Mali, Niger, Morocco, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Uganda, Bolivia, Peru, Venezuela, Mexico, Jamaica, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia (Java, Sulawesi, Bali, Lombok, Komodo), Jordan, Syria, Ireland, England, Holland, France, Italy Czech Republic, Canada.
