Nearly 100 employees recognized for years of service

One staff member reaches 40-year milestone, with four more at 35 years

One University of Wisconsin-Stout employee was recognized for 40 years of service and four more for 35 years of employment during a program held Monday, Nov. 12, at the Memorial Student Center.

A total of 95 employees were honored for reaching milestones ranging from 10 years to 40 years. Each employee received a commemorative tackette, or pin.

UW-Stout has 1,324 employees.

Jody EngeldingerThe Chancellor’s Office and University Advancement hosted the reception for the honorees, their families and guests. Chancellor Bob Meyer, who in 2017 received the 30-year recognition, presented the awards.

“UW-Stout is an exceptional place to learn because of our talented, dedicated and supportive faculty and staff. These employees from all over campus make a difference every day in students’ lives, so that’s why it’s an honor to recognize them,” Meyer said.

Mark Parsons, vice chancellor for University Advancement and Marketing and executive director of Stout University Foundation, was the emcee.
