Julie Blanchette, administrative assistant III with Facilities Management, has received the University Staff Appreciation Award for November.
The individual nominating her stated, “Julie is committed to ensuring data accuracy and quality assurance in our work order process. She is a subject matter expert in TMA, our computerized maintenance management system. Her knowledge of campus keys is extensive. Julie works hard to ensure key requests are processed in a timely fashion and are in compliance with our access control procedures. She manages the campus key audit and does a great job in facilitating outcomes. She takes pride in meeting the needs of customers, both internal and external. Julie is also responsible for processing the fleet requests. She is the first point of contact for most customer service needs in Facilities Management and is quick to respond to phone calls and in-person needs.”
Each employee of the month receives a certificate of recognition and a gift presented by Chancellor Katherine Frank. The award, in its 19th year, was established by the Chancellor’s Office and is co-sponsored by the University Staff Senate.
