Creative writing is a powerful tool that will elevate your critical thinking, analysis, and inference skills. UW-Stout's Creative Writing Minor is your opportunity to develop an independent creative voice, while honing writing and communication skills that complement a wide variety of majors. This minor offers a dynamic exploration of a wide variety of genres, empowering students to craft compelling narratives for a wide range of print and digital media. Moreover, students will establish a working knowledge of the business of writing, publishing, and editing.
