I am an ambitious individual who is passionate about food and the science involved in making it! I have recently graduated from my masters program and thrilled to start my career in the food industry. The idea behind choosing this major was to work towards a global problem of food wastage and finding ways to reduce/prevent it. I have a full-time job lined up with Nestle in their Quality Assurance Department and my job there is to ensure that the food processing equipment is contamination free and the manufactured food is safe for the end consumers.

My program was M.S Food & Nutritional Science and my major was Food Science and Technology. This program gave me a chance to study courses like Food Safety Laws, Food Engineering, Functional Foods and Food Processing which helped me increase my knowledge base. Furthermore, the skills that I developed through my course helped me during my Co-op at Nestle. The professors at Stout were always ready to help including the administration and other office staff that was warm and welcoming at all times. The Office of Career Services is also an important and dedicated part of the Stout family, which strives hard to make your transition from 'student to employee' smooth and hassle-free.
