Roles/Responsibilities: Recruit and advise students on the academic, financial, and cultural aspects of study abroad programs. - Act as a liaison and maintain campus relations with both the academic and administrative departments on campus, international partnerships, local community and student body. - Oversee the administration and strategic marketing initiatives of study abroad offerings. - Engage in social media platforms for program marketing – Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube. - Manage National Student Exchange program. - Maintain StudioAbroad. - Organize study abroad pre-departure orientation online and in-person. - Advise students on visa requirements and scholarship opportunities. - Conduct evaluations and assessments of study abroad programming. - Work with faculty to develop new and ongoing program proposals. - Coordinate visits for representatives from partner institutions visiting UW-Stout. - Manage partnership contractual changes, renewals and establish new relationships. - Organize annual overseas site visit. In 2014, organized and conducted a site visit to 12 partner programs and universities in Germany, Austria and Spain. Evaluated the academic offerings at each location in order to target market the program to Stout students. Took photos for the purpose of marketing materials. Posted target marketed postings on Facebook for the various study abroad programs during site visit. Met with UW-Stout faculty and Program Directors in order to learn about their study abroad needs, inform them of the various academic offerings and to garner their support to promote the study abroad programs to their students. - Collaborate with the School of Art & Design International Studies Committee.
