Sgt. Lucas Kinblom attended Chippewa Valley Technical College, where he earned an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice. He then completed the 720 hours Wisconsin Law Enforcement Academy at Chippewa Valley Technical College. He was hired by the UW–Stout Police Department on June 1, 2020. During his tenure with the department, he has served in several key roles, including Field Training Officer (FTO), Taser and general instructor, Narcotics Detective and Patrol Officer. On May 17, 2026, he was promoted from Police Officer I to his current role of Sergeant.
