Hiben receives February University Staff Appreciation Award

Lottie Hiben receives the University Staff Employee Appreciation Award for February from Chancellor Bob Meyer.Lottie Hiben has received the University Staff Employee Appreciation Award for February at University of Wisconsin-Stout.

Hiben, of Menomonie, is a program office assistant in the School of Art and Design.

Hiben’s nomination stated: “Lottie goes above and beyond to assist the students by helping with appointments, scheduling and making sure they have program requirements met by their graduation date. Lottie keeps all program directors updated with information they need and deadlines. She is always pleasant, patient and helpful and awesome.”

Chancellor Bob Meyer presents each winner with a certificate of recognition, a UW-Stout coffee mug and a check for $100.

Students, faculty and staff may nominate a university staff member who demonstrates a commitment to excellence and the university community. The award, now in its 11th year, was established by the Chancellor’s Office.
