Stephanie Danielson, program associate with the School of Art and Design, received the University Staff Appreciation Award for January.
The individual nominating Stephanie stated, "Stephanie is one of the greatest staff we've ever had. She serves on a number of different university committees and has developed our program office in the School of Art and Design into a phenomenal unit.
"Stephanie helped to create the pre-BFA program, runs large portions of it in the background and helps organize multiple events each year for more than 350 students. Stephanie is simply phenomenal.
"Stephanie always greets people with a smile and looks out for the rest of our staff with fun parties, themed days and general quality-of-life improvements. I can't imagine someone else on campus being more deserving of this than Stephanie."
Each employee of the month receives a certificate of recognition and a gift presented by Chancellor Katherine Frank. The award, in its 19th year, was established by the Chancellor’s Office and is co-sponsored by the University Staff Senate.
