How will transfer credits work in the program?

If you have a completed associate of applied science degree, 55 or more credits may be used to fulfill program requirements. This varies by student and each applicant is individually reviewed.

How long will it take to complete the program?

If you enter with a completed AAS degree, then you would need an additional 60-70 credits to complete the program. Typical students complete 18 credits per year. You may choose to progress faster or slower through the program. It is up to you.

Can I earn credit for my experience?

UW-Stout awards credit for prior learning outside the academic environment. Learn more at: 

How are courses offered?

Courses are delivered online in a semester format.

Do I have to come to the UW-Stout campus?

No. All of your classes will be offered online. We'd love to have you visit and attend commencement.
