There are two tracks for admission to the Dietetic Internship Program:

Current students in the UW-Stout graduate Food and Nutritional Sciences program.

Students with a completed graduate degree in Food and Nutrition or similar degree from an accredited university.

Admission requirements for applicants enrolled in the UW-Stout Food and Nutritional Sciences graduate program include the following:

Completion of a minimum of nine graduate credits at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, including FN-710 Clinical Nutrition, FN-712 Community Nutrition Practicum, and FN-606 Nutrition Education with a grade of "B" or better in each of these three classes.

Minimum cumulative graduate GPA of 3.0.

Verification of completion of a dietetic program approved by the Commission of Accreditation/Approval of Dietetics Education. This verification statement is required of all students entering an internship program that is approved by the Commission on Accreditation/Approval of Dietetics Education. (Please see Internship Director if you do not have a verification statement.)

A TOEFL score of 550 for non-native speakers of English.

An acceptable review on the Background Disclosure Document and Department of Justice Criminal History Record Check.
