M.S. Degree in Food and Nutritional Sciences

The Food and Nutritional Sciences graduate program combines a strong content knowledge base with skills to conduct applied research. The program allows you to enter with an unrelated bachelor’s degree to complete one of two concentrations:

  • Food Science and Technology
  • Human Nutritional Science

This program is unique in that some courses taken for the nutrition concentration of the master's degree also go toward completion of the dietetic competencies to enter a dietetic internship which allows you to become a registered dietitian upon passing the national exam. We also offer the dietetic internship for students who hold the master's degree and have completed the dietetic competencies.
