Psychology Research Laboratories

The Psychology Research Laboratories are well equipped for conducting many modern psychological experiments. Equipment available to students and faculty allows research in Psychophysiology, Cognitive Psychology, Social Psychology and Perception.

The Psychophysiology suites have state of the art computerized equipment for measuring EMG, EEG, EDA, EKG, Temperature, Respiration, and Blood Pressure automatically. Psychological stimuli may be programmed using Micro-Experimental Lab (MEL) software.

The Cognitive/Perception suites have equipment for reaction time, pursuit rotor, mirror tracing, and other psychomotor experiments. There are visual illusion generators, sound generators and computerized recording equipment.

Other equipment in the lab includes several Pentium II-based computers, Mac based computers, video taping equipment, timers, and stereo equipment.
