The internship is the crown jewel of your experience in the MSAP. It is never too early to begin finding an internship site. This is your responsibility, but the Program Director and your advisor should be able to assist in this process. The Applied Psychology Seminar course is designed to help in your search for an internship site and should be taken in your third semester.
Once you have chosen and secured a site, you need to identify a supervisor. He or she will be responsible for evaluating you. You are required to put in 400 hours, but this can be combined with your field problem that requires 200 hours. You must have approval of the Program Director, however.
Please check the bulletin board in front of the Director's office for Internship and employment opportunities.
