Health Psychology concentration program plan [PDF]

Health psychologists work in a variety of health-related settings (clinics, schools, non-profit organizations, insurance or pharmaceutical companies) and apply psychological principles and research to real-world health problems. Specific topics include health behavior interventions, health promotion, wellness education, health care policy and health services research.
You enjoy working with people to promote wellness and a healthy lifestyle. You have an interest in current issues and problems facing the health care industry. You are interested in assisting companies, schools, or organizations develop and evaluate health-related programs or interventions.
