Cognitive Neuroscience is the study of human thought, as it relates to neuroscience. Our goal with the Cognitive Neuroscience minor is to help you understand how the physical and biological parts of the brain and body influence thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and memories.
Our program opens many different educational and career paths for you. You may continue your education and acquire an advanced degree in Cognitive Neuroscience or a related discipline. You may do research in the medical field or at universities or become a clinical, counseling or school psychologist.
To declare a minor, complete the "Applying for a Minor" survey online, and you will be given further instructions. Once this has been processed you will receive an e-mail confirmation from the Advisement Center.
