Study Information Technology at UW-Stout

UW-Stout offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Networking and Information Technology (CNIT) with opportunities to minor in Computer Science, Project Management, and/or Business Administration based on individual interests. The program provides students with strong technical skills, as well as soft skills such as communication, professionalism, teamwork, leadership and problem solving abilities.

The CNIT program follows UW-Stout's unique hands-on, active learning approach.  As an CNIT student, you will gain real-world experience as you design, implement, and administer local and wide-area networks. You will take courses in emerging fields such as virtualization, unified communication, information security, IP Telephony, and wireless networking.
