Are you an incoming student, transfer student, or returning student looking to make connections, form lifelong friendships, and get involved on campus? The LGBTQIA+ Program Office is your one-stop shop!

  • Request a Peer Mentor. Get connected with a peer mentor who will welcome you to UW-Stout and introduce you to people and places around campus. To get started, click here.
  • Become a Peer Mentor. If you're a returning student who would like to share your knowledge of the UW-Stout and Menomonie communities with an incoming student, click here.
  • Become a member of the Gender & Sexuality Alliance (GSA), Stout's official LGBTQIA+/Ally student organization!
  • Join Open Door, for discussion and support around LGBTQIA+ issues. Check out the posters around campus for day/time/location.
  • Join a Safe Space Training student panel, and share your experience as a person who identifies as bisexual, transgender, lesbian, gay, queer, questioning, or any other sexual/gender identity
