Research Interests

My primary research interests are in the area of attitudes and persuasion. I've been studying something called pseudo-credibility and examining its persuasive impact. I enjoy collaborating with students on research, so in addition to my main interest I'm working with undergraduate students on a diverse array of topics such as: stereotypes and violent video games, email forwarding, and responses to ambiguously aggressive behaviors. I also regularly advise M.S. Applied Psychology students on their thesis, some topics include: environmental sustainability behaviors, social dominance, performance evaluation, gender and leadership, political attitudes, and consumer attitudes/behaviors.
