Brief Biography

Maggie’s past experience in designing and facilitating professional development in face-to-face, blended and online settings focused on the implementation of digital learning games, instructional technologies, universal design, and Web 2.0 tools. She has mentored new teachers, and served as an advocate and instructor for students with learning differences in the Chicago Public Schools. Also, she has mentored adult learners at Loyola University and served as a lecturer at DePaul University. More recently, she has served as a student advisor at DePaul. Maggie integrates her training in adult and K-12 education, instructional design, educational neuroscience, and e-learning to design and facilitate innovative, brain-compatible programs and instruction. Maggie believes that each learner is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to learn.
