1. Arrive to class on time.
2. Attend all class meetings. Attendance will be taken at the beginning of all
lab periods and will be an important factor in
determining your final grade for the course.
3. Take notes in class and review notes after class.
4. Study regularly each week. Two hours study time for each hour of class is recommended.
5. Work actively in lab groups
6. Ask questions and/or seek assistance from the instructor when
concepts are unclear or there is any problem regarding the class.
The tutor center
is also a great resource for students who need some "extra" help. It is located
in the Advisement Center in Room 11
Bowman Hall (232-1465)
7. Read assigned pages in text and manual.
8. If you are seriously ill or have a family emergency you MUST FIRST
contact the office of the Dean of Students at 232-1181.
They will then
notify me of your situation. That is the ONLY way you will be allowed to
take a make-up exam.
