Susie's Connections & Collaboration

Welcome

I am glad that you are exploring this site.  I have considerable work experience in Rehabilitation Counseling & Job Placement.  I believe that all people have gifts and contributions to share.  My research interests are in the area of service design, empowerment, collaboration, older persons, ethnicity and the experience of disability & the effects of social reforms on person's with disability.  Connections and collaboration are vital to us all as we try to make the community accessible.  This site is an effort to support your learning experiences.

What you will find here

This is just the beginning of your connections.  Through this site, there are single click guides to each of my major courses.  Over time I intend to add pages for each of my rehabilitation selectives courses.  For now you will find connections to Community Resources, Job Placement & Advanced Rehabilitation Practicum.

Check it out

There are literally thousands of exciting sites on the Internet that can help you and the consumers you serve.  Each of the course titles below will connect you with that course directory.  Underneath each course is a very small sampling of websites that are relevant to that course.  These are only a very small sampling of the wealth of relevant sites.  In each of my classes I will try to help you learn about how to locate sites as well as directing you to some sites that I think are interesting or important to know about.  Listed below are some cites that you might want to check.  Happy hunting!!!!
