Dr. Paul Coverstone teaches Project Management for Instructional Development in the Instructional Design Certificate program.
Paul Coverstone spends his energies and interests in the dynamic and converging domains of information technology/information management and instructional design for online learning. He currently serves as the Chief Information Officer for a large public utility, and stays active in designing courses and teaching online and on campus. As CIO, he is responsible for the strategic planning and management of many multi-year, multi million dollar information management projects. Project management is one of his key core competencies, supported by his PMP certification.
Dr. Coverstone taught his first online course in 1998 and served as Faculty Director of the fully online B.S. in Information Technology (BSIT) program at Capella University. In this capacity, he was responsible for the program design and development, as well as faculty and course management. Additionally, while at Capella, he taught a variety of technology courses in database development, project management, and data warehouse design.
Dr Coverstone serves as adjunct faculty for McDaniel College, in Maryland, where he teaches graduate research methods, both on campus and online. He is also actively affiliated with Colorado State University – Global Campus, where he teaches Project Management, Organizational Behavior, and Multi Media in Instructional Design.
