The Recreation/Athletic Complex is located on the south edge of campus, west (left) of Broadway and south (right) of 13th Ave. Driving directions are listed below. Please observe city and university parking regulations. University parking does not allow parking in restricted lots without a permit during normal business hours. The large lot by the football field is enforced thoughout the week, but public parking is allowed from 1 p.m. Fridays through late Sunday evenings.

From the East: Take Interstate 94 to State Highway 25 exit, go south (Menomonie exit) onto Broadway Ave. Continue south on Broadway through downtown Menomonie to 13th Ave. (Dairy Queen). The Rec Complex is to the east (left) of Broadway and south (right) of 13th Ave.

Take Interstate 94 to State Highway 12 and 29. Take the Elk Mound/Colfax exit, go west on Highways 12 and 29 into Menomonie. Follow highway to intersection of Main Street and Broadway Ave, turn left onto Broadway. Continue on Broadway south to 13th Avenue (Dairy Queen). The Rec Complex is to the east (left) of Broadway and south (right) of 13th Ave.

From the West: Take Interstate 94 to State Highway 25 exit, go south (Menomonie exit) onto Broadway Ave. Continue south on Broadway through downtown Menomonie. Turn left at 13th Avenue (opposite Dairy Queen), right into parking lot (Lot 4) or turn right into parking lot east of Johnson Fieldhouse (Lot 29).

From the North: Follow State Highway 25 south into Menomonie. Highway 25 will turn into Broadway Avenue. Continue south on Broadway through downtown Menomonie to 13th Avenue (Dairy Queen). The Rec Complex is to the east (left) of Broadway and south (right) of 13th Ave.

From the South: Follow State Highway 25 north into Menomonie. Highway 25 will turn into Broadway Avenue. Continue north on Broadway to13th Avenue (Dairy Queen). The Rec Complex is to the east (right) of Broadway and south (right) of 13th Ave.

Directions to Dunn County Ice Arena
(Hockey)

The Dunn County Ice Arena is located on the east side of Menomonie, about 12 blocks from campus, in the Dunn County Recreation Park on the corner of Stout Road (State Highway 12/29) and 17th Street.

From the East:Take Interstate 94 to State Highway 12 and 29. Take the Elk Mound/Colfax exit, go west on Highways 12 and 29 into Menomonie. Follow highway 17th Street. Take a left on 17th Street. Take first right into the Dunn Country Recreation Park. The Ice Arena is located in the Dunn County Rec Park.

From the West: Take Interstate 94 to State Highway 25 exit, go south(Menomonie exit) onto Broadway Ave. Turn left onto Crescent at stop light just by the Subway restaurant. Follow Crescent as it turns into Main Street at stop light. Turn left onto Main and follow Main Street (don't veer to your left as road follows lake bank, stay straight on Main) into Dunn County Recreation Park. (That will be about 12 blocks or so).

From the North: Follow State Highway 25 south into Menomonie. Highway 25 will turn into Broadway Avenue. Continue south on Broadway until you reach Crescent. Turn left onto Crescent at stop light by the Subway restaurant. Follow Crescent as it turns into Main Street at stop light. Turn left onto Main and follow Main Street (don't veer to your left as road follows lake bank, stay straight on Main) into Dunn County Recreation Park. (That will be about 12 blocks or so). Ice Arena is located in Dunn County Rec Park.

From the South: Follow State Highway 25 north into Menomonie. Highway 25 will turn into Broadway Avenue. Continue north on Broadway to Main Street. Turn right (east) onto Main Street until it runs into the Dunn County Recreation Park. (That will be about 17-18 blocks.) Ice Arena is located in Dunn County Rec Park.

Directions to Menomonie High School
(Cross Country, Tennis-alternate site)

Menomonie High School is located on the west side of Menomonie, about five blocks west of campus.

From the East: Take Interstate 94 to State Highway 25 exit, go south(Menomonie exit) onto Broadway Ave. Continue south on Broadway throughdowntown Menomonie. Turn right at 13th Avenue (at the Dairy Queen). Continue to 5th Street West, turn left. Drive to first right off 5th Street (Menomonie High School parking lot). Take first right into north lot.

Directions to Outdoor Tennis Courts
The UW-Stout outdoor tennis courts are located on the very southeast corner of the campus at the corner of 18th Ave and 5th Street.

From the East: Take Interstate 94 to State Highway 25 exit, go south(Menomonie exit) onto Broadway Ave. Continue south on Broadway throughdowntown Menomonie. Turn left at 18th Avenue (after Don & Nona Williams Stadium). Follow 18th up to top of hill. Courts are located on the left.

Take Interstate 94 to State Highway 12 and 29. Take the Elk Mound/Colfaxexit, go west on Highways 12 and 29 into Menomonie. Take left on 9th Street (at the Telecom building). Travel south on 9th to 18th Ave, turn right on 18th. Courts are four blocks and will be on the right.

From the West: Take Interstate 94 to State Highway 25 exit, go south(Menomonie exit) onto Broadway Ave. Continue south on Broadway throughdowntown Menomonie. Turn left at 18th Avenue (after Don & Nona Williams Stadium). Follow 18th up to top of hill. Courts are located on the left.

From the North: Follow State Highway 25 south into Menomonie. Highway 25 will turn into Broadway Avenue. Continue south on Broadway through downtown Menomonie. Turn left at 18th Avenue (after Don & Nona Williams Stadium). Follow 18th up to top of hill. Courts are located on the left.

From the South: Follow State Highway 25 north into Menomonie. Highway 25 will turn into Broadway Avenue. Continue north on Broadway. Turn right at 18th Avenue (just before Don & Nona Williams Stadium). Follow 18th up to top of hill. Courts are located on the left.

Directions to Wakanda Park
(Softball-alternate site and tournaments)

Wakanda Park is located on the north side of Menomonie, about two miles north of campus. There is currently (April-June 2006) road construction on Interstate 94 near Menomonie which has held up weekend traffic by as much as an hour. You may want to consider alternate methods to bypass this short bit of construction. Coming for the east, you may want to take the Highway 12 & 29 exit for Elk Mound and Colfax. You should see signs for Menomonie Coming from the west, you may want to get off on State Highway 128. The alternate directions are listed below.

From the East: Take Interstate 94 to State Highway 25 exit, go south(Menomonie exit) onto Broadway Ave. Continue south to Pine Ave, turn left onto Pine (at intersection with McDonalds and Taco John's). Continue into Wakanda Park.

or

Take Interstate 94 to State Highway 12 and 29. Take the Elk Mound/Colfax exit, go west on Highways 12 and 29 into Menomonie. Follow highway around lake bank (onto Crescent) and you will intersect Broadway Ave. North at the stop lights (in front of a now not-in-use grocery store). Continue north on Broadway to Pine Ave. Turn right onto Pine (at intersection with McDonalds and Taco John's). Continue into Wakanda Park.

From the West: Take Interstate 94 to State Highway 25 exit, go south (Menomonie exit) onto Broadway Ave. Continue south to Pine Ave, turn left onto Pine (at intersection with McDonalds and Taco John's). Continue into Wakanda Park.

Alternate route from the west: Exit Interstate 94 onto State Highway 128 and turn left. Go as far as US Highway 12 and take a right (east). Follow 12 into Menomonie. You will go through the picturesque bergs of Wilson and Knapp. Highway 12 will intersect with Highway 25 at the intersection near McDonald's, Taco John's, Super 8 and the Walgreens. Continue straight (east) through that intersection into Wakanda Park (you will be on Pine)

From the North: Follow State Highway 25 south into Menomonie. Highway 25 will turn into Broadway Avenue. Continue south to Pine Ave, turn left onto Pine (at intersection with McDonalds and Taco John's). Continue into Wakanda Park.

From the South: Follow State Highway 25 north into Menomonie. Highway 25 will turn into Broadway Avenue. Continue north on Broadway through downtown and over the bridge. Continue north to Pine Ave (at intersection with McDonalds and Taco John's), turn right onto Pine. Continue into Wakanda Park.
